What a package covers

Quoted once, with nothing bolted on later

A package quote is a single figure for the whole trip. We would rather explain the cost up front than surprise anyone at the end of a long driving day.

  1. 1

    The vehicle and the driver

An air conditioned car for the full trip with the same driver throughout, including fuel, tolls, parking, state permits and the driver allowance.

  2. 2

    Where you sleep

Hotel or desert camp nights as listed, booked in your name. We suggest two or three options at different price points and you pick.

  3. 3

    Sightseeing and safaris

All the driving between sights, camel or jeep safari where the package includes it, and a local guide at the fort if you want one.

  4. 4

    Quoted separately

Monument entry tickets, camera fees, meals not listed and anything personal. We list these in the quote so you can see them.

Before you book

Questions we are asked most

When is the best time to visit Jaisalmer?
October to March is the comfortable season, with cool days and cold desert nights - carry a jacket for the camp. April to June is very hot and better suited to early starts and late evenings. July to September is quiet, occasionally green, and the light is excellent for photographs.
How many days do I actually need?
Two nights covers the fort, the havelis, Gadisar Lake and one desert night without rushing. Three nights adds Kuldhara, Bada Bagh and a slower morning. Add a fourth if you want the Tanot and Longewala road, which is a long day out and back.
Can you change a package after we start?
Yes. These are private trips, not fixed departures. If the group wants a slower morning, an extra stop or an earlier start for the light, tell the driver and we rework the day.
Why are prices not listed on the site?
The cost changes with the season, the number of travellers, the vehicle and the standard of camp or hotel you choose. Rather than publish a rate that would be wrong for most enquiries, we quote each trip when you ask.
Do you arrange pickup from outside Jaisalmer?
Yes. We regularly collect travellers from Jaisalmer railway station and airport, and drive to and from Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur and Udaipur. Tell us where you are arriving from and we will build the transfer into the quote.

What guests say about the journey

Sample review 1 Placeholder - couple, 3 nights
Placeholder testimonial. A short, specific story works best here: an early start for the fort, a quiet stretch of dunes, a driver who waited without being asked.
Sample review 2 Placeholder - family of five
Placeholder testimonial. Mention the vehicle, the punctuality and one small detail that made the trip feel personal rather than packaged.
Sample review 3 Placeholder - group tour
Placeholder testimonial. Reassurance about safety, clear pricing and local knowledge belongs in this slot.
